To increase and ensure the number of persons in the current workforce have the necessary skills to work in the developing green economy.

To work with low-income communities through education and information on the importance of greening their homes and providing programs to assist them.

To provide education to ensure recognition of the role sustainable agriculture plays in the greening of our global environment.

To bring elementary, high school, and college level students into the green arena through activities and education.

To work with 1890 Land Grant Universities and Historic Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in developing a curriculum that will prepare students for the new green career workforce.

To educate and inform consumers, entrepreneurs, and small businesses on how they can easily “make the change to green.”
