The City of Brunswick has joined SoGreen’s Making The Change To Green Network. Members of the Brunswick community had an opportunity to learn how they could take a hands on approach and adopt change to green practices.

Participants heard from Mayor of Brunswick Bryon Thompson on his plans for greening the city of Brunswick, Georgia Power on saving on utilities, Fort Valley’s Healthy Homes Project on creating a healthy home environment, Congressman Sanford Bishops office on the Stimulus Package, a representative from the IRS on green tax incentives, Coleman and Cowarts architects on green construction, and SoGreen Network on the top green jobs and careers and the training necessary to prepare for the new green industries.
